Gobernador Horacio Guzmán International Airport (FAA: JUJ - IATA: JUJ - ICAO: SASJ), is an airport located 33 km southeast of the city center of San Salvador de Jujuy, near the city of Perico in the El Carmen department in the province of Jujuy. The airport is located very close to the most populated cities and towns of Jujuy, such as San Pedro de Jujuy, Libertador General San Martin, La Mendieta and Palpalá among others. Its name is due to the governor of Jujuy who decided to create said airport, although it is also known as "El Cadillal" because in that place there used to be a farm with that name.
El Aeropuerto Internacional Gobernador Horacio Guzmán (FAA: JUJ - IATA: JUJ - OACI: SASJ), es un aeropuerto que se encuentra a 33 km al sureste del centro de la ciudad de San Salvador de Jujuy, cerca de la ciudad de Perico en el departamento El Carmen en la provincia de Jujuy. El aeropuerto está ubicado muy cerca de las ciudades y localidades más pobladas de Jujuy, tales como San Pedro de Jujuy, Libertador General San Martín, La Mendieta y Palpalá entre otras. Su nombre se debe al gobernador jujeño que decidió crear dicho aeropuerto, aunque también es conocido como "El Cadillal" debido a que antiguamente en dicho lugar había una finca con ese nombre.
